7/16/03 - Now I'm on my 4th digital camera. The Canon Powershot G5. They came out with this one very quickly, but as a necessity because everyone else had 5 megapixel cameras, so they had to also. Really all they did was put a 5MP CCD into a G3, make it black and rename it the G5. None the less, I still bought it, so that I could sell my G3 for a "good" price. Except that I only got $455 for it less ebay and paypal fees.
2/7/03 I'm on my 3rd digital camera now. The Canon Powershot G3. My past cameras were... The G2 and the G1. Bascially I've upgraded every year when the new model came out. The awesome thing is that I've bought the camera at a really good price. For example, I bought my G2 for around $800, price matched it to another seller with my AMEX, then got $100 back from MSN during a promotion they were having. I just sold my G2 for $565 on ebay after using it for over a year and taking over 4000 pictures with it! I sold my camera to a man named Ray Charles btw.
Anyway, I have my G3 now and I like it a lot so far. I paid $800 for it from Ritzcamera.com and have already priced matched it down to $600 through my AMEX. Now I'm waiting to get my $100 from this year's MSN holiday rewards promotion, and a $50 rebate for buying a digital camera and a HP inkjet printer (7350).
